Connecting your chromebook to your home Wifi:
Connecting to Wifi - Before you can log on you need to be connected to your Wifi. Many times the connection window will pop up and you just need to find the Wifi connection that you want to connect to, enter a password if needed, and then connect. If it does not pop up do the following:
Click on the Wifi icon in the tray in the bottom right corner.
Click on the Wifi icon in the window that opened
Make sure that the Wifi is turned on by clicking the toggle switch on the line that says Wifi.
At that time you should see a listing of the available Wifi connections. Click on the Wifi network you are wanting to connect to.

Updating your Chromebook - You should try to keep your Chromebook up to date. The newest version of ChromeOS lets you know that it needs an update.
The easiest way to do that is to make sure you log off or power off the Chromebook when you are done using the Chromebook (push the power button or click in the tray and click on the power icon). You can also force an update. Watch the video to learn how to keep your Chromebook up to date.
